Implementation of Social Educational Values in the Pillars of Islam at Pondok Pesantren Miftahussa’adah Sindangbarang

This study aims to identify the social education values within the Five Pillars of Islam, their implementation, and their outcomes in the lives of students at Pondok Pesantren Miftahussa’adah. The research indicates that social education values in the Five Pillars include fostering trust in others' potential, thoughts, and responsibilities, maintaining cleanliness, discipline, orderliness, consistent concern for others, refraining from causing harm, and preserving social ties with any community. The implementation of social education values at Pondok Pesantren Miftahussa’adah includes communal prayers, recitations of Ratib and Yasin, Sholawat, tahlil, and commemorating the founders of the school. The outcomes of implementing social education values from the Five Pillars in the lives of the students at Pesantren Miftahussa’adah are increased awareness and concern for others, mutual respect and trust, collaborative decision-making, and maintaining a clean environment.

This study focuses on the basic concept of inclusive growth and development of students and its implications for educational activities in the context of descriptive analysis. Educators should not be taboo about the progress of growth and development of students because learning that pays attention to the rate of change in students will be useful in actualizing effective learning strategies as well as developing the potential that exists within them. In this research, the method used is a qualitative study with a literature review approach. Based on the information obtained, research results were obtained in the form of basic theories of student growth and development, development as a holistic process viewed from biological, cognitive and psychosocial aspects, as well as student growth and development regarding the educational process with implications. The urgency of this research is to obtain a comprehensive understanding regarding a particular topic while building a theoretical foundation for further research.

Education from an early age or pre-school to build Indonesian citizens' awareness of the need to preserve cultural and biological diversity. Ecological education is one of the keys. Ecology is a multidisciplinary science. The science of ecology is currently being discussed due to the development of development in various countries which causes catastrophic environmental damage and results in a decrease in the carrying capacity of the environment and the quality of human life in areas where the environment is damaged. Based on this research, this research uses a type of qualitative research with data collection procedures in the form of interviews, observations and documentation of respondents who have relevance to the research objectives, the data that has been collected from field research is then analyzed descriptively-interpretive. Interpretation by researchers is carried out based on formulations oriented to the actors or people studied (emic analysis). Thus interpretive analysis is carried out with interpretations of what informants say, or thinking about what they say, which then organizes it all in a research report.

This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in fostering religious moderation through habitual programmes in schools. By implementing these programmes, IRE teachers aim to cultivate tolerance and mutual respect among students. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach to analyse existing research and theoretical perspectives on the subject. The habitual programmes, designed and modified by teachers, include strategies to integrate moderation values into the school curriculum and daily activities. This approach not only enhances students' understanding of religious diversity but also promotes a harmonious learning environment. The findings highlight how effective these programmes are in developing inclusive attitudes and reducing religious conflicts among students. Through careful modification and implementation of these programmes, IRE teachers contribute significantly to creating a respectful and tolerant school atmosphere, preparing students to engage positively in a diverse society.

This study examines the efforts and programmes designed to enhance the pedagogic competence of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers through the integration of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research follows a qualitative descriptive methodology, focusing on literature review as the primary means of data collection. The study systematically explores the significance of continuous professional development, including training, mentoring, and collaborative learning environments, in improving teachers' abilities to foster critical, analytical, and creative thinking among students. Additionally, it analyses the role of technology in supporting pedagogic practices and emphasises the need for schools to adopt policies that promote active learning and critical assessment methods. The findings suggest that by enhancing the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers, students will be better prepared to face the challenges of modern education, leading to improved learning outcomes. This research underscores the urgency of aligning teacher competencies with contemporary educational standards, particularly through the effective integration of HOTS in classroom practices.

Teaching and learning activities must be well-planned to ensure that students have the motivation to learn, which leads to optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, lesson planning requires special attention, particularly in managing the classroom during Arabic language lessons. Arabic is a challenging subject, leading to a lack of interest among many students. Thus, support from various parties, especially Arabic language teachers, is essential for optimizing classroom management. This study aims to identify classroom management strategies that enhance learning motivation in Arabic language lessons for 11th-grade students at IAI Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Huda. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings of this study are The classroom management strategies employed by Arabic language teachers to increase students' learning motivation include creating a conducive teaching and learning environment with principles of warmth and enthusiasm, challenges, and an emphasis on positive aspects, organizing the learning space, and managing teaching and learning interactions. The intrinsic motivation of the students stems from their awareness of the importance of learning Arabic, while extrinsic motivation comes from rewards/recognition, diligent study peers, and the teacher’s demeanor, which plays a significant role in enhancing students' learning motivation.

In this research, the method used is a qualitative study with a literature review approach. This research aims to find out the background of Islamic education modernization, find out the urgency of Islamic education modernization, and find out the pattern of Islamic education modernization in the world. The method used in the preparation of this research is a qualitative method which in the data collection technique uses literature studies. The results of the analysis show that the background that is developing today in the modernization of Islamic education is the existence of internal and external factors. The internal factors are: 1) Muslims need a truly reliable Islamic education system in order to produce quality Muslim people, 2) the religion of Islam through the holy verses of the Qur'an tells and encourages Muslims to always think, and metaphorize; reading and analyzing everything to then be applied or even able to create new things from what has already existed. Meanwhile, the external factor that causes the importance of modernizing Islamic education is to catch up with Muslims against other nations, as well as to answer the challenges of changing times that are so dynamic. Meanwhile, the urgency of modernizing Islamic education is very important to invite third world nations that are still at the level of backwardness and backwardness to accept western standards that they consider to be ideal. And there are three patterns of modernization of Islamic education, namely: 1) Groups that are oriented towards the modern education pattern in the West. 2) Islamic Education Modernization Movement (Renewal) oriented to pure Islamic sources. 3) Educational reform efforts oriented to nationalism.

Keris is one of the world's recognized intangible cultural heritages. This is clearly stated in Unesco's Representative List of Humanity in 2008. From data found by Unggul, the largest number of keris craftsmen in Southeast Asia are in Sumenep. In fact, from the data he obtained, from 2012 to 2014, the number of keris craftsmen increased until it reached around 600 craftsmen. This is certainly something that is both encouraging and a challenge to continue to maintain. Referring to the data above, of course, the regeneration of keris craftsmen in Sumenep continues to be carried out massively amidst the onslaught of pragmatism, materialism, and pop culture which continues to pressure the younger generation, especially in Indonesia. This requires certain strategies and methods in the regeneration process with learning methods that are able to attract the younger generation. This research intends to explore the learning models carried out by masters from time to time so that they can survive and the number of craftsmen tends to increase to this day. The method used is ethnography with a qualitative approach.

This study aims to analyze spiritual guidance in increasing the self-efficacy of students in Islamic boarding schools. In the context of Islamic boarding schools, students' self-efficacy has an important role in building balanced character and personal development. This must be seen holistically that self-efficacy is a belief possessed by individuals to have the ability to manage and perform actions in order to achieve certain goals, while Islamic spiritual guidance itself is a process of conveying Islamic values to someone carried out by spiritual mentors so that they can strengthen faith and soul. Therefore the method of spiritual guidance becomes necessary in implementing psychological self-efficacy improvements, especially for students who live in Islamic boarding schools. The focus of the research carried out is the method in Islamic spiritual guidance, two methods are carried out (1) the direct method; (2) indirect method. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Sampling used purposive sampling, while the data collection technique used was in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research was conducted at the Islamic boarding school Al-Munawwir Krapyak Yogyakarta with the results showing that spiritual guidance service methods can improve students' self-efficacy.
